Success !

After several classes I have finally finished my T-shirt design.

The assignment was to choose a Right from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I chose number 9, " No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile"
The idea behind my design is that, if you are younger, and have objects on you while walking or with friends or when ever.. that you are always being watched, people always think you are going to do something bad and cause mischief. I decided to use spray paint cans as the objects because as a graffiti artist, i know what it is like to get hassled by the police for having these objects on. Even markers can get you questioned and held just for having one on you.

The camera symbolizes that there is always an eye on you, whether you can see it or not. There will always be somebody watching you, 24 hours, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year.. you get it. Basically where ever you are that police can not patrol 24/7 there is a camera to watch what happens. The police symbol that as teenagers, we get hassled a lot for being you and getting a bad reputation. Just because we are young, and want to live a fun life does not mean it is full of mischief.

Well that's all for now, Thanks!

Websites : Good and Bad

A simple and easy website design is key to keep viewers coming back to the website.

www.Puregraffiti.com
This is an example of a bad website, where there are to many option's and drop down menu's
It get's confusing trying to find what you are looking for at first, the website name helps a bit with what it is about. For people that do not use that website, i do not suggest it to them.

www.bungie.net
This an an example of a good website, 6 main, easy to understand drop down menu's. The point of the website is simple to see, that it is about gaming because of the pictures and videos on the main page. It is easy to sign up, and its a very understanding website.

Alex Pardee : : Eye Suck Inc

Recently i have been drawn towards a more abstract/weird art style.
It consists of warped people with melting body parts, animals, and just other random stuff that does not make any sense at all.
It is very interesting because it shows how he can put his emotions into his artwork, and make it very.. weird.

Here is a link to his website, where you can view several of his paintings or follow his blog.
http://eyesuckink.com/

He uses watercolor and ink for most of his work. For some others me may use just ink, or thicker paint. It would be very interesting to see where he gets his idea's/inspiration from to do his artwork. This is one of my favorite pieces done by him.
It is called TrailBlazers2
I like it because the way i can see things in it is very interesting and has a good message in it.
On top of the brain is a city, witch i see as us humans, humanity..
And the brain thing under it could be the government or media .. portrait as a monster to the human race, and it basically says that people don't speak for themselves, they believe what they see on the media, and what they hear in the newspaper. They eat the information they are fed, and cant get it themselves and believe what they want to.
I don't want to start going to far into this, but I'm sure you can see where i am going with this.
That's all for now
Be sure to check out his work, and his blog
Thanks.

Computer fire wall

Wall's don't always have to be made of object's or in your mind. They all do the same thing, witch is to prevent something. They can be made in many ways, such as a physical wall, mental wall,
maybe even a visual wall but this one is completely different.

A Firewall (computing) is a system that is designed to stop unauthorized people from accessing a network. Firewall's are often used to stop unauthorized internet users from accessing private networks connected to the internet. All messages that enter and leave through the internet must pass through a firewall. Each message is "searched" and if it is blocked, then it does not meet the security specifications and is denied.

El Anatsui

El Anatsui, a well known Ghanaian sculptor, was born in the year 1944. He took a liking to art and taught at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1995.

El Anatsui has a wide variety of of art, but likes to stick to traditional ones. He has some art pieces that are based off of clothing in africa. He uses materials he finds such as bottle caps, scrap metal, wood, and clay. The majority of his work is very large in size. His work allows people to see it how they would like to.He uses other objects to make smaller ones show their best side, what i mean is that he combines different parts to make 1 part. I personaly amd not a fan of his art, i am more into people drawing how they feel.
